William Watkins, Abergaveney 

Clock dates circa late 1700s to early 1800s. 11” broken arch dial (141/2” tall), 30 hour chain/weight driven clock, striking on a bell. Date aperture. Pierced steel hands. Nicely proportioned solid mahogany cased clock. Swan neck pediment with box wood stringing, arched date aperture and full length flat top door. Well painted flower sprays to dial corners and a pair of exotic birds in the painted in arch dial. 82” tall, 18” wide overall trunk 12” wide, 9 ½” deep.
