Wilson of Stamford mahogany

The 12" dial and case are in excellent condition and the movement benefits from a full service last year. This strike is on a wire (not a bell). The case has two side doors (typical of a clock not a timepiece which generally has one). The side doors have fish scale style brass inserts. The clock has a cast brass key operated bezel with a convex glass. The case is solid mahogany with a well figured front veneer and mahogany carved wings and front decoration. Overall a high quality clock of the period.
